I thought it was ok to refresh daily with PowerBI Free version?

I am getting this error :

This dataset contains on-premises data sources. To schedule data refresh, try Power BI Pro for 60 days, or contact your Office 365 tenant administrator to purchase Power BI Pro.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Graham

@gdutton

If your content contains following item, it's Power BI Pro content. If we want to schedule refresh, you need to be pro or pro trial user.

Data from a dataset that connects to on-premises data using the Power BI Gateway - Personal or the On-premises Data Gateway,

After you publish report (data source is either SQL or local excel file) to Power BI Service, you need the gateway to refresh the data. Then the data is belong to pro content.

For details, please refer to https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-power-bi-pro-content-what-is-it/.

Best Regards,
Herbert
