Hi,
I'm using Azure Stream Analytics to generate an output to Power BI service. I get a streaming dataset and use it to show values per date with a graphic in a dashboard and in a report. Date is UTC in the report and local time in the dashboard. Is there any way to show date in local time in the report changing configuration in Power BI service?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @solalla,
Please see below response from PG team:
This is “by design” and there is no plan to address it in near future.

This is VERY frustrating! I want to show *everything* in UTC, but I have no control over it, which makes the data seem inconsistant with other data sources. Please allow this to be configurable for dashboards!

That sucks. At least should leave options to the users.
What if I pin some piles to a dash board? Piles from dash board and from report have different time zone now, which makes it confusing to read.

Is it planned to provide an implementation by Microsoft for
Power BI service to evaluate the browser time zone settings?
Best would be if your new implementation would do:
= Users from Asia or Australia see the same reports as those from Europa as those from the USA.
But: Those from Australia with the appropriate Australian time zone, those from Europe ...
Example:
The very same record would show 01:40 May 1, 2018 in Australia
But: 17:40 April 30, 2108 in Switzerland
And: 11:40 April 30, 2018 in New York
Best regards, David
OK. Thanks!
