Smartboard display updated data

Hi all,

I have a smartboard project using Power Bi. The smartboard is view by user everyday on computer with less user control. User just open the computer every morning, then view the updated data on smartboard. I have used refresh schedule to refresh the data everyday. Then, i used Publish to Web to publish my report. But, i need to wait 1 hour for the data to reflex with the updated data. This is not effective. Is there other way, for user to view the updated data once open the computer?

Hi @melina,

The cache is long-lived, so if you update the report definition (for example, if you change its View mode) or refresh the report data, it can take approximately one hour before changes are reflected in the version of the report viewed by your users. It is therefore recommended that you stage your work ahead of time, and create the Publish to web embed code only when you’re satisfied with the settings.

As far as I know, there is no any option to increase the refresh frequency for Publish to web currently. I would suggest you submit your requirement on Power BI Ideas to improve Power BI on this feature.
