Hello
I have shared a gateway with an user, who published (and updated) his dashboard in it.
I have 2 questions:
- can I see the dashboards which are published in my gateway?
- for automatic refresh, it's enough for the gateway pc to be on, or the one that published the dashboard also needs to be on?
Thank you for any help
- can I see the dashboards which are published in my gateway?
Reports are not published in gateway, they are published from Power BI desktop to Power BI service workspace groups. If you're a member of the groups, then you can see the published reports.
- for automatic refresh, it's enough for the gateway pc to be on, or the one that published the dashboard also needs to be on?
Yes, the gateway pc has to be on, and of course, the datasource pc has to be on as well.
Wrong words
A user (with permissions) is using my gateway and datasource to update his data.
Can I see that?
The only datasets I see are mine (my workspace), how do I know (if i can) he is using my gateway to schedule refreshes?
