Restrict the access in published report and export data option

Hello All,

I need your suggestions or approach.

I need to know  whether it is possible to achieve this or any approches for the below scenario.

Assume "TEST" is a company. It has 3000 branches across the globe. I want to share the embeded iframe all over the branches.
  1.  If "abc" branch wanna view the report(published embeded), it should only show thier data(i.e pre selected filter to that "abc" branch and hide other branches data). Is this possible? Because, i can't create 3000 reports using visula or page leve filteres and publish (or) I can't buy 3000 pro user licences also. I want any dynamic way.
  2. I want to give the export data option to that published report. Is this possible? Because, they need export the data also for the 3000 branches

NOTE: The published report will be embedded in website. So i need the restriced report with respect to that branch

Thanks a ton in advance

Hi @mehaboob557,

Do you mean "Publish to web"? If so, you have to consider the risk of privacy of your data. Publish to web makes the reports accessible to everyone on the Internet. Please refer to: service-publish-to-web.

Some suggestions according to your questions.

1. The RLS (Row level security) could be very helpful in your scenario. You can restrict the access in the rules of RLS. But it isn't available in Publish to web. Please refer to service-admin-rls.

2. That depends on your choice. Publish to web doesn't support "export data".

3. The Power BI premium would be a great option in your scenario. Please refer to: service-premium.

Best Regards,
