What we are doing :
We are using Power BI Pro in order to make Reports Embeded in SharePoint Online Pages in our Site
the source of the data the reports are using are from lists from the SharePoint site.
The problem:
When adding new elements in the data sources (lists the data is coming from)
The values in the reports are not synchronized with the changes, we still have the old values from when the report was uploaded using Power BI Desktop.
In order to get the new values in the statistics pages, we have to refresh data in the power bi desktop, then we will have the new values from the lists there, and then we upload the modified report again from power bi desktop into power bi service.
We see that Power BI offers instant refresh and scheduled refresh and we are having troubles with both features.
When clicking on REFRESH NOW, nothing happens, the data is not refreshed.
When clicking on SCHEDULE REFRESH
After configuring everything there, the Power BI will send refreshing failure notification several times and then disable the scheduled refresh feature automatically.
