Hi,
When I click on each individual Gantt chart timeline it shows the correct amount (displaying the value of each task), but when I click out I would like the sum of all the Gantt chart timeline values, but rather than providing me with the correct number, it doubles the sum. The card is set to 'sum' as well. Is this a bug or a known issue?
What is going on? Thank you
Hi @samanthamirae,
Based on my test, it could work on my side like the picture below:
Could you tell me the “sum” you have created in the Card visual is a calculated column or is a measure? Could you offer me the related formula? And you can also check the version of Power BI Desktop(2.59.5135.781 64-bit (June 2018)) and check the version of Gantt chart(1.12.1.0). If issue persists, would you please share your pbix file if possible? Also you can test with our sample report on your side to see if the same issue occurs.
Regards,
Daniel He
Hi @v-danhe-msft,
Everything is showing up EXCEPT your sum single-line card in the sample PBI report you linked. The sum I have created is not calculated, but a column in my Excel sheet (data source). I just added that column title into the card and under the visualization tab under "Fields", I changed the drop-down list to 'Sum.'
How am I able to check the version of Gantt and Power BI? Although I'm sure I have the latest version for both
