Power BI Desktop template not populating custom field values in jira

I am having issues with populating custom field values in Power BI Desktop template for jira where all the values are showing as null for custom fields.  Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi, story points can be accessed under customfield_10117

Where I am struggling is with custom fields I've created myself. In Jira I can see that a particular custom field ID is customfield_10300 but this is not appearing in Power BI.

Anyone any ideas?

Hi Pavel,

Apologies. I am using PBI desktop template for on-premises jira. All the predefined fields are populated without any issues and the report gets generated as expected. I would also like to create some reports like sprint velocity, burndown charts and so on for which I believe you will need to use the values from the custom field columns. However, the values are showing as null for the custom fields as shown in the screenshot below. Hope this information helps.

@hareeharan unfortunately I don't have access to any Jira environment to test it. And without it I think I can't find out what is the problem.

But generally are these custom field columns available overall in Jira? It seems like you don't have these columns in your source, or they are not filled??

Thank you for your response. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am trying to find fields like "story points" which I am sure is in my jira issues. However, I can't find any column name called "story points" in PBI desktop template. So, I presume they must be one of the custom field names which is what I am trying to find

@hareeharan as I said, unfortunately I don't have access to Jira, so I can't try it/find out what is the problem.

Maybe if there was some Jira sample project...?? I have tried to search some, but without success.
