Pinned card visuals in dashboards do not update

Hello,

I am designing my dashboard by pinning some visuals. I have a problem when pinning a card visual. The card visuals show the total amount of my report expenses. When I update my report the pinned card visual in my dashboard does not update.

To be more specific I am trying to add the Euro currency symbol to the amount in the pinned card visual and this does not come up.

Any ideas why this does not works? I assumed that pinning a visual to the dashboard it automatically updates when you change it from the report.

Hi @Anonymous,

Since you have changed the format of displayed value on card visual (add a currency symbol), the pinned tile in dashboard won't automatically update. You may need to delete the original one and pin visual to dashboard again.

Hello Yuliana,

Many thanks for your response. I see that the pinned card visual has to be replaced with a new one every time I make any changes in the structure of the visual. That's no problem as I don't plan to do any further changes on it. 

I see if I dont change the structure of the visual it updates successfully. Many thanks for the support.
