Hi,
I want to measure performance of my application for PowerBI for huge data set say millions of record.
Is there a tool available to metrix Powerbi perf numbers?
Thanks
You can use DAX Studio/SQL server Profiler to check the performance of your data model. More information on what you can do with DAX Studio is at here.
Thanks ,
We are showing reports in POwerBI rendering data from sql azure Table and Views.
Views rendering report seems to be less performant than direct query from table - which is kind of obvious from SQL point of you.
Wanted to understand if there is POwerBI limitation on showing report fetching from VIews vs tables ?
Or there is way to mointor perf numbers for POwerBI.
Sql profiled helps at sql query level.
Thanks
@sang_kd2 Not sure what you meant to measure in power bi desktop but if you want to know how fast can power bi load data then check out this link that says how fast can power bi load / refresh data based on subscription type. That is for power bi service though I dont think you should measure how fast can power bi refresh data in pbi desktop as its a designer tool and not ultimately where you will refresh data each day.
