Hi,
I've installed a gateway using the Personal mode and the installation runs smooth, no errors. I use my account to log in to the On-prem gate way and it says: "Connected! your gateway is good to go" and I can't go anywhere from here. It has wored in the past with previous versions which I uninstalled. And when I look at older datasets under "Settings" It says that an "Power BI - Personal Gateway" is online.
I tried uninstall and re-install it as an administrator
I tried to run the on-prem as an administrator as well.
I can't find that the On-prem Gateway personal mode is running in the task manager either.
Can anyone figure out what I am doing wrong here?

Are you signing in to the gateway from an account different to the account you're signed in to Windows with?

Yes, when I log on to my computer I use DOMAIN\name.name and when I log on to gateway name.name@company.com. They're linked to eachother thou so I dont believe that's causing the problem here. What I believe is the problem is that I have an old version installed somewhere on my computer that I cannot find and that is why when I install my On-prem Gateway personal mode the installer recognizes it and believes that it is still up and running. Does this make any sense at all?

Also, i want to add that I cant make any configurations either. It just says i'm good to go. However, i cant publish from Power BI desktop, it just tells me that I dont have any gateway installed..
