Monitor your Quota

Hi,

For the last few weeks I expected that we are running into the daily data limit, although not according error message was shown. Today I got the following notification for the first time:

"Daily Limit Exceeded. The quota will be reset at midnight Pacific Time (PT). You may monitor your quota usage and adjust limits in the API Console: "https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/analytics/quotas?project=664933364***"

When I open the link it says that I don't have the necessary permissions:

"The API "analytics" doesn't exist or you don't have permission to access it"

Can anybody explain to me why PowerBI is referencing to the google API and how I can monitor our quota with it?

Thanks,

Sebastian

Hi @sguenther,

Currently, If your data is imported via the Insightly API, it includes a daily limit based on your Insightly subscription plan level.

Daily limits have a rolling expiration of 24 hours. To prevent abuse of our API we limit the number of requests that are allowed to our API on a per instance basis. We allow no more than 5 requests per second and a daily limit is set based on your plan level, starting from 1000 requests per day for a Gratis plan.

Hi @v-caliao-msft,

Thank you for the response. However, we are currently not using Insightly. But you sparked an idea. Maybe Google Analytics does too and that's where we run into a limit.

Sebastian
