Merge free account with pro account

Hi,

I currently have a free account and a Pro account.

I would like to have the functionality of my free account on my pro account.

The functionality includes daily updating of the data (the pro account updates weekly). How do I go about getting this on to my PRO account. I have used two different email addresses for both of these accounts. 

Is it possible to merge the two together and just use the pro account?

We are not able to merge the free account with pro account.

Could you please describe more details about that “The functionality includes daily updating of the data (the pro account updates weekly)”? With pro account, you are able to schedule datasets in Power BI Service to refresh Daily.

Hi @JDSM17,

You are not able to transfer subscription between accounts. In your sceanrio, you can refer to the following article about how to purchase pro as individual or assign pro license to your account in Office 365 admin center.

The Pro account should have everything the Free account has plus more. You can refresh more frequently from a Pro account than you can with a Free account.

Is it possible to log into Power BI for Desktop with the Pro account? It keeps reverting to my Free account and I can't determine how to log in with the Pro account.

I am having the same issue.

I had/have the free account and now have subscription of the Pro, but PowerBI desktop keeps sending me to the free powerBI service and not the Pro Service.

Free site = https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me
