We have a scheduled refresh for a dataset that includes Salesforce data source
From time to time the refresh fails with "The credentials provided for the Salesforce source are invalid". Nothing on the Salesforce user has changed, but from one day to the next, Power BI reports that the Salesforce credentials are invalid.

I have seen similar issue before. And I don't think it's the credential issue since another refresh completed after that failure. I suggest you use Fiddler to trace the request from Power BI Service to see detail information.

I agree - it doesn't seem to be a credentials issue. We moved the refresh to another time slot and it's been fine for 2 days, so it could be a time-out issue reported as credentials. If it starts happening again we will ty to get to the bottom using Fiddler.
