@Satish_Kumar Which gateway did you install? The personal or the On Premises Data Gateway? The personal gateway will just work for supported datasources, the OPD gateway will require that you create a data source first in the PBI Service.

This example is for a SQL Server, but the steps would apply to other sources as well.

I have installed the on premise Gateway avilable from Power BI.

@Satish_Kumar In the Power BI Service, have you created a data source for the gateway? Under Settings -> Manage Gateways -> Add Data Source?

Here is the main problem its is showing the gateway is offline and thatwhy i am not able to connect to the data source.

Hi @Satish_Kumar,

From the image, it seems that the data gateway isn't online. Please verify the gateway is running.

Then start the on-premise data gateway, sign in with your account, make sure the status like below:

Hi @Satish_Kumar,

@v-qiuyu-msft

I tried but its always shows me that the gateway is offline.

Hi @Satish_Kumar,

How about updating the data gateway to the latest version? Make sure sign in account in data gateway is the same address as you used to login Power BI service.

@Satish_Kumar I assume you had no issue setting up the gateway on the server.

Did you change the Service account user?

Is your server part of the same domain registered with your tenant?

Have you accomodated all the firewall and proxy configurations?
