Gauge last value on real-time dashboard

I use Azure Stream Analytics dataset to make real-time dashboard.
I created a Gauge on the report and then pin it to dashboard.
I need to use the last value from my dataset, but gaude can use only aggregated values.
How it is possible to use last value?

Here is a similar thread in which some workarounds are mentioned. Could you go to check if it helps in your scenario? 

In addition, following is another solution mentioned in this thread.

I struggled with this for an hour or two and finally just created a VIEW. WAY easier than any of the solutions I saw in PowerBI.

CREATE VIEW Summary AS
SELECT *
FROM TABLE1
WHERE Date IN (SELECT MAX(Date) FROM TABLE1)

It is not possible to create view on a stream analytics data source.
