Gateway unavailable in app workspace

I have been taking a look at App workspaces. I have created one and published a pbix file to it. When I go to the dataset in the App workspace it doesn't offer our enterprise gateway as an option to refresh. The exact same report in a standard workspace refreshes fine with the enterprise gateway. Am I missing something?

I get the following message.

You don't have any gateway installed or configured for the data sources in this dataset. Please install a new personal gateway or configure the data source for an existing data gateway.

What's the data source for this report? Is the data source same as the report you publish to "My Workspace"?

I seems that you include multiple data sources in that report you publish to App workspace, you can install a personal gateway, or you have to configure data source in On-Premise Gateway for each of them.
