Disabling api link of a power BI report

Hi All

I want to know if there is a way to desactivate or disable the access to the api link of a power BI report ?

I have shared somes reports by the past and I want now to monitor the activities on those reports by disabling the api link and creating dedicated Power BI users and workspaces.

Tks for support.

HI @Apysert,

Which method you used to share you reports? If you mean 'publish to web' feature, current it is impossible to achieve your requirement on it.

If you use power bi embedded, you can setting RLS on it to apply security request. Users who not assign roles are able to access report but can't view detail records.

I am not sure what you are referring to the API link of a Power BI Report. Are you referring to the Report Link when sharing a report?

Hi @Anonymous

I am talking about this generated link  :

Not to my knowledge, you could post a new idea in the community if it doesn't exist. https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi?WT.mc_id=Community
