Does the # of unique visitors include the one who created the report and uploaded?  Or is it only include other users who the dashboard creator shared it to?

Yes, metrics considerate you as a unique visitor and counts each time that u visit the page also.

From my experience it includes all visitors, including if you uploaded it and tested it.  Naturally if you upload and then don't click on the report, you won't be considered a viewer.

I can confirm with @Anonymous that it does indeed count any person who views the Dashboard or reports including yourself.
