Does anyone know if it's allowed to charge money for access to a domain on PowerBI.com?
The idea is this. I use a domain like MyCustomDomain.com to signup for a bunch of PowerBI.com accounts. I then build some really cool models using customer's data, but I want to continue to control the environment so I give them accounts like Customer1@MyCustomDomain.com, Customer2@MyCustomDomain.com, etc. Then I charge the customers a subscription fee for access to the accounts. If Customer1 decides to stop paying, then I can just cancel their Customer1@MyCustomDomain.com account.
Is this legal?
One can set up mulltiple licenses for one's own domain.
Who actually uses it, and any cost recovery isn't within the bounds of a forum question.
What I can't remember off-hand - is whether you'll need to actually make the email account in order to receive a verification email....I don't think so - - but you'll find out easily enough with a quick trial.
I agree, I think I went outside the bounds of the forum. Thanks though for venturing a response.
