The Power Bi app "tiles" are not showing the correct date on them. See below:
I update the data sources to these app spaces daily, so I don't understand why they are showing old dates. The latest refresh was done on Friday, June 2nd. The data, once your enter the app, is correct, so I know that they're refreshing, but the date on these tiles is confusing my users.
Any ideas?
I am also having this issue. Is there a solution?
Hi all,
I still have seen no solution for this, and my app tiles still show the date created on them. That seems to be the only link I can find is that the date shown is the date created, not the date the data was updated.
Hey guys, I am facing the same problem.
My users are getting lost when they are using the APP because the "Latest publication date" is showing the wrong date.
Does anyone know a solution for that?
Thanks in advance.
Generally, this type of behavior is caused because tiles inherit the context in which they were pinned. Thus, for example, if you filtered the report or visual to a specific date with something like a slicer and then pinned the tile, then the tile will always display information for exactly the context in which it was pinned.
Is there anyway we can always show to updated data on tiles even if a slicer is being used?
Thanks for the comment @Greg_Deckler. To my knowledge, I don't have any context to these reports as they are updated daily. Any other ideas? These aren't pinned visuals either, these are the actual "app tiles" that user select when they want to view the data in the app.
My bad, missed the context.
