Add a local AD group as a member of Power BI group

Is it possible to add a local AD group to a PBI group? Even better is it possible to replicate the local AD group to Azure AD to make it as a PBI group without the need to recreate the PBI group within Power BI. My company has some syncryonisation process between local AD and Azure AD as power bi users use same window password to login into the Powerbi.com.

I am interested in a solution to this as well.  When setting up role security, the local AD group address was found and I was able to add it, but I am unable to add it as a group member to our Sales and Marketing group.  When typing in the name AD group name in the Workspace Members field, other AD groups automatically display for selection, but not the one I am interested in.  I noticed all AD groups that show up for possible selection end with ".com", where the one I need to use ends in ".net".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

@curtismob
