Mobile App scanner used to scan number plate?

Would it be possible for the AR scanner in mobile app to scan something like a number plate on a vehicle? Or does it only support barcode/ QR codes at the moment? A number plate would be a unique number corresponding to a record in the data warehouse, much like the number under a barcode.

Hi,

Power BI app scanner scans only barcodes and QRs.

My proposal, in this case would be a barcode that you might have in each car or create a barcode for each car.
