I'm testing the incremental refresh feature with a Datamart and do not understand the resulting error. Below are the steps to reproduce my error. The data source is a simple Excel workbook with 13 rows of data: These are the incremental refresh settings: After clicking "Save", the status window displays the "Wrapping things up" step for ~30 minutes: After ~30 minutes, I receive this error message: Any help would be appreciated in understanding the error message. Hi, Please could you fix the PowerBI Cloud website so that it's possible to open links in new tabs - for example in the left navigation bar, I'd like to open a new tab with my apps in it. However, as currently designed, it's not possible to right-click/middle click to open the link in a new tab while leaving my current tab open: Generally, throughout the PowerBI website this isn't possible - making navigation a real chore. Scenario: I have a report with a single-select drop-down slicer that filters what device information will be displayed. This report is already published and has been working as intended for several months now. However, somehow on the web version this silcer will revert back to a multi-select format. when i open up the desktop file, the slicer still remains as single-select. I'll save and republish it to try and fix the web version and even though the web version will show that it has been updated, the slicer still remains as a mutli-select. I've tried editing the web version and changing this slicer back to a single-select in the edit mode; and although the slicer will show that it has changed back to single-select, when I save and close out/re-open the slicer will again show as a multi-select in the report. I've tried clearing my cache and then republishing or editing in the web mode but neither seems to fix the issue. The only fix that I've found online that works is to completely delete the slicer in the desktop version and then re-create it, save, and republish. However, since this is the second time that I've had to do this to fix the issue (in the last several months), I fear that this is not a permanent solution to the problem. I simple want to make Microsoft aware of this possible bug/issue.

I was logged on with user A to Power BI Desktop , showing me the dataflow that user has access to. Now I log on with user B and want to connect to a specific dataflow but is still shows me the dataflow of user A who I disconnected everywhere (it's even from another organisation). Besides that I do not see my own workspaces so I can not connect to my own entitie (or is a subscription in the background needed?) Any idea on how I can connect to a dataflow from user B (organisation B)?

Within a text box, independent of font, size 14 bullet points get set to size 9 - its impossible to get size 14 bullets which is frustating as its the only one I need right now!

We are currently sharing reports to our external users using workspace apps and the new app experience. Before the new app experience, everything worked fine. However, in the last couple of days, external users who could always access the app are now getting a "We couldn't install [app name]" message. At first this was just a couple of users but now we are starting to see more of this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi MS Power BI Community, Thanks in advance. We are actually migrating from storage mode "direct query" to "mixed" (Because storage mode "direct query" is bit slow). Because of the huge number of rows in some of the tables we are not able to import them. And hence the mixed mode. The storage mode "mixed" was working fine until we published them into our workspace. The visuals which uses tables that are direct query are failing in our workspace with the below error. The one with the storage mode as "direct query" is still running fine in our workspace. we are facing problem only with storage mode as mixed. Any help us in this regard to resolve the error "Couldn't Load the data for this visual" will be greatly appriciated. Regards, Avinaash.S

As stated i followed the entire process for azure auth and expremineted with both Native type and Web type, the power bi reports list is showing but when it is stuck on loading screen on with DYNAMICS NAV windows client It shows correctly on the web client

When trying to add a new data, I'm getting an error that the SQL Server was not found or accessible. I'm getting this consitently, even though I can connect to the SQL instance and other tables I have are successfully getting refreshed with data as scheduled. Greetings, Since update to Sanddance 4.0, slicer needs 2 actions to refresh data on the sanddance visual in reading view. Works OK in edit view. Applies to PowerBI services, tested on edge and chrome, October 2022 PowerBI version. Another hint for the issue, visual will refresh after applying zoom level. Visual Interaction set properly. Sanddance issue or PowerBI issue?

Hi, The option of sharing datasets with Build permission is not allowing users to access these datasets and create reports on them, either at the Power BI Desktop or at the Service. Users don't even see those datasets at the Data Hub. According to Microsoft (see below), it is enough to assign the Build Permission option so that users can access and create reports on these datasets. "Allow recipients to build content with the data associated with this dataset" This option grants the recipients Build permission on the dataset, which enables them to build new reports and dashboards based on the data associated it." Bug in legend when position is bottom center: There is no arrow that lets to see all categories in legend when position is "bottom center". When position is just "bottom" everything is ok, there is arrow.

The filled map visual is having an issue i.e. when Asia is selected we see Asia but when Europe is selected we see whole Eurasia( Europe + Asia regions highlighted) as shown below: Asia selected Europe selected Please provide a fix on this issue as its very troublesome on visualization.

I struggle with performance when I use table container in my Power BI report there my source is SSAS (tabular or multi) same problem with both, and deploy it to Power BI Server. When I switch to another container, the performance is good. Only when I use Table container. I have good performance in Power BI desktop. The performance problem came when I go to Power BI portal an open a Report. The report will running and running when I open it. When I change from table to a graph container its work fine. Even when I use Multi-row card It’s work fine.

I have a table visual that contains some of the columns from Two related Tables(A fact and a DIM Table). However when exporting the underlying data from the visual in Service i want to see all columns from both the tables in Excel. Currently it is not possible in Powerbi. Powerbi shows only all the coumns in one of the table.

There is bug in Tooltip in PowerBI Desktop Version:2.51.4885.701 64-bit (October 2017) + Service + Azure PBIE. When I enter huge text in tooltip there are several bugs: 1) There are breaks in the text: But this issue takes place only in PBI Desktop October 2017 Version + Service + Azure PBIE. Actually, there is no such issue in PBI Desktop September 2017 Version: 2) Scroll does not work in see data mode for huge text. Thank you in advance
