Hi,    I am working on a report in Power BI Desktop which I have connected to the dataset on the service. The report keeps freezing a few times per day, it appears to happen when it loads visuals. When working on the dataset everything works fine and does not freeze (import), it only happens when working on a report connected to the dataset on the service. Today noticed that when a new report page is loaded on power bi services,The selected element is marked by a black rectangle around the element. Using <tab> let's you cycle through the elements.  The black rectangle is visually disturbing. Once you click on the report the selection vanishes. I have a workspace that contains 2 reports.  The second report contains a bookmark navigator.  When I deploy it as App the second report's bookmark navigator incorrectly shows bookmarks belonging to the first report.  Workaround is to move the second report above first report in the deployed App. ... Hello, After I updated my Power BI Desktop to February update I noticed that everytime I refresh the datasets the sorting by column resets and goes to default. That's so disturbing that I will have to downgrade to the December update, because the January upgrade had issues in DirectQuery mode.   I've tested on two different machines and on the machine with the December version there was no such issue as reseting the column sort to default. ... I run Power BI training and one bug that always happens randomly through the course is that the Sort By Column button gets greyed out after clicking on an item in the fields pane.   The user then has to then click on something else and click back on the item to get the Sort By Column button to light up.   It appears to happen more often if a visual is selected before then clicking on a column in the fields list that you intend to sort.     ... We don't receive mails from some of the "send mail" features of the Power BI cloud service.   We know that there is no problem on our side with receiving mails, because, in general, we DO get mails, e.g. when: being added to a group when a dashboard is shared with me But we don't get mails at least on these occasions: data alerts report subscription There are several posts on that issue and none of them has a found a solution so far: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Not-receiving-email-on-Alert/m-p/120178#M18664 http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Not-receiving-email-via-subscription/m-p/118963/highlight/true#M18566 http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Unable-to-receive-automated-mail-alerts-from-Power-BI-service/m-p/116622#M18352 I wonder if the problem only occurs if you are in an enterprise context and your UPN is not the same as your email address. In my case, if the system sends mails to my UPN, i will never receive them.   Here is some more of what I found out:   Using a "Alternate E-Mail-Address": In an enterprise context, I'm not able to set and use an alternate email-address as suggested here. That's because I'm not allowed to change my information settings due to organizational reasons.   But IF i could, there's another problem: According to our AD guys, the "Alternate email" information is stored in an AD-field named "othermails", which can only be set in the Admin-UI if the user got a special role assigned to. But that does not apply, if the user is a simple PBI-User (and no PBI-Admin for example). So putting email addresses into the "alternate email" will fix it only for special users.   Additionally, the "othermails" field doesn't seem to get synced from AD to the AAD. That means that putting email-adresses into that On-Prem-AD-Field wouldn't change a thing for the cloud service.   If the Power BI-function that sends alerting notification uses either the UPN or the "othermails" field, emails get lost. There's a AD field called "mail", which could be used, but perhaps it isn't, at least in some cases.   Sorry if some of the information above is perhaps specific to our case. Hi everyone,   I've been using Map Shape Visuals in Power BI Desktop for a while and since there was a modification of the visualization pane I can't find the option to choose my saturation color and set saturation values. There are options to select the borders color, to select the empty zones color but no option to select the saturation color and values. I'm stuck with the default blue.   Here are some screen shots from the old visualisation pane (2 pics on the left) and the new one (2 pics on the right) (in French). This happens when I add Analytics: Y-Axis Constant Line to the stacked column chart using a measure for Value field, but I assume it's relevant to other chart types.   The visual displays 0% line on the bottom of the column despite the measure used for the Value field returns BLANK(). Also having Y-Axis Start greater than 0% doesn't fix the problem. It still shows the 0% line on the bottom of the column, even when axis Y starts from much bigger value (e.g. 75%).       ... Hi,   I've been experiencing an issue where I cannot refresh the dataset from the Saleforce data source in the Power BI service. While I am in Power BI desktop I am able to refresh the data without issue. While I am in the Power BI service, if I navigate to Settings > Datasets > Report Dataset Credentials, I am shown an error that tells me that the credetials are not correct. Even attempting to re-enter the credentials from this page does not allow the account to accomplish login.   First I select Settings > Datasets > Report.  You can see below the salesforce credentials are not working correctly.     I then click on edit credentials next to sales force and this is the pop up. OAuth2 is the only authentication method possible to select.   I click sign in and this pops up.  I then type in the username and password and click login.   After I click login I get this error that pops up.     The entered credentials are correct and should not return an issue. ... Hi   On the service, when filtering, or slicing, a report, the scroll bars on the table matrix are not repositioning to the home position consistently - it is irratic, sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't.   This makes navigation difficult as you constantly have to reset the table to view the filtered results   Any suggestions welcome   ... Hi!   I have a quite simple report and a small size dataset behind (approx 2000 rows in largest tabel, total 5 tables). The report is based of 3 slicers (shown as dropdowns) and 4 100% stacked bar charts.   The problem accours when consuming this report in IE 11, no matter if it is consumed by app.powerbi.com or in "publish to web" mode. The report will crash when selecting from all of the 3 slicers, idependent which order you pick. Even if the the last slicers only show 1 option, yhen you choose that option IE11 is shutting down and the message "A problem with this webpage coused Internet Explorer to close and reopen the tab.". It occours every time, i even tried to recreate the report in lastest version of Power BI Desktop but no nothing change. If I remove the slicers, or edit 100% stacked bar charts to pie diagrams it all works! If att used another stacked bar diagram (not the 100% one) the problem is still there.   Everything works fine in Edge, Chome etc. I have updated IE11 to the latest version; 11.228.17134.0   Any ideas?   Best regards ...
