Is there a service outage that started about an hour ago? All our dataflow refreshes are failing, in both Premium and shared capacities. Our gateway is running fine and successfully connecting to data sources.

Dear Support I am new to Power BI , we are connecting our SAP BW Application System with Power BI using SSO. We have loaded data through SSO in BI Desktop and when publish it show success. But once we click the link to access online we are getting this error. SncLibrary was not specified and the SNC_LIB_64 environment variable is empty or missing. In Manage gateway we already provided SNCLibrary location and selected custom but issue is there . Need support. Kind Regards

I have been experiencing this issue with my Premium workspace datasets. The dataset is connected to a dataflow using direct query. I replicated this in a different account and did not experience this issue at all. Here is the error i receieved; Underlying Error: PowerBI service client received error HTTP response. Regardless of source, each time I try to add a table after the most recent update I get this error message: "Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'The provider 'Microsoft.PowerBI.OleDb' is not registered. The following system error occurred: Class not registered '."

The on-premise gateway is missing from Power BI service. I can not see it under Manage gateways or select it under "Gateway connection". The gateway is upto date running on a schedule VM machine on Azure.

I've been trying to automate a couple of our workflows using the PowerBI API. One automation that I'm struggling with is refreshing a dataset. A script that refreshes a dataset runs fine when run with a normal user that has admin access. However, when running the script with a Service Prinicpal, It fails the refresh. We know this is because the dataset that we want to refresh, requires a couple of datasources to be correct. In our personal user accounts we can see these datasources in the web interface stored under the Settings > Manage Datasources tab. Under Data Sources are the "Personal datasources" What I'm wondering is how we can add these datasources to a Service Principal without the use of an On-prem or vnet gateway?

Someone share a folder with me on onedrive for bus. When I try to connect to it, I can't see the files. Everything is fine with my other folders. I also tried to connect via = SharePoint.Contents but cant expand the folder, it shows up as binary and not as a table The user gave me full permission to the folder such as full acess wchich means that I am aslo a owner. I tested a shared folder for someone else and everything was fine

Hello, I have created a report in PowerBI that uses data connected through SAP BW. When I refresh the report in the desktop app everything works fine. My numbers are showing correctly and all there is left to do is publish. When I publish the report I see the numbers matching but after anywhere from 2-5 minutes if I refresh the report or open it in a new window the report breaks and hardly any of my data shows up. All the while this is happening my numbers in the desktop version are still in tact. I have not had any issues refreshing the Desktop, just publishing the online version of the report. I initially thought it may have been some kind of boolean error or maybe my Sharepoint securities were messed up since I do have some excel files connected from Sharepoint. But later realized if I just throw the revenue (that comes straight from SAP) onto a table and publish, that only sums to 90% of my total revenue on the published screen. In sumary some of my data shows when publish but I'd say 90-95% of it does not. Anything helps!

The option to "Take Over" a dataflow is very useful and needed. However, recent use of it has shown potentially to have destructive breakages. A normal dataflow would look like this: 4 main connections that require organisational credentials However, after several Take Overs, and re-editing credentials. The dataflow has inexplicably applied a new connection against each entity in the dataflow. The connection is a text string to the Dataverse, used to importing data via XRM Toolbox. The Bug appears to be writing a new connection for each entity using the Dyn365CEBaseURL parameter in PowerBI, then affixing the name of the entity. This shouldn't happen. Worse still, when you try to go to "Edit Credentials", y Worse still, when you try to "Edit Credentials" you either get an ominous error - Or simply, you are no longer given to OAuth2 option to connect to org credentials - effectively, rendering it completely inaccessible and broken

Hi, I'm facing an issue on trying to connect Power BI to Azure SQL Server with Private endpoint activate and public access disable. After creating an virtual network gateway on Power Platform I could access Azure SQL Server on Power BI DataFlow creation with no issues. However, after saving data flow creation and confim first execution, system displayed "Execution for On-Prem data source failed because it's not registered on a gateway (218884)" message. Could someone help me to identify the solution for that issue?

Hello, I have a problem and I can't find any clue about what happen : I use a sharepoint directory as datasource, and at first I had absolutely no problem with authentication, it worked fine. Recently, I am willing to update my report and I can't refresh sources because Power BI is unable to authenticate me on my sharepoint. I tried all of the option, and the failing message is not explicit enought for me to understand what might go wrong. Can someone please help me ?

Oracle database with different schemas which uses individual or schema specific credentials. In power bi service created schema specific gateway connections and created data flows with same oracle data source with schema specific credentials, When tried to map schema specific data connection to respective data flow, power bi is automatically selecting other gateway connection instead of selected one
