Unable to configure gateway for Impala Data Source - DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_DataSourceAccessError

Hi,

I have been trying to add Impala data source to the on-premises gateway.

I have successfully configured other data sources like SAP BW and Saleforce using the same gateway.

However seeing the problem DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_DataSourceAccessError with error description as in

"Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to <Server name>"

"Details: We reached the data gateway, but the gateway can't access the on-premises data source".

Note: It is an anonymous logon.

Please let me know additional checks and configurations that might be necessary wrt Impala for data source.

Thanks,

Mannu

Have you tried with other authentication method? You may not have enough permission if just using anonymous logon.

Yes I tried to use BASIC auhentication by providing username and password. But I see the error as in the snapshot below and it is unable to connect from PBI Desktop within the LAN as well. The username used has administrative privileges. Hence forced to use Anonymous login.

Are there any specific permissions / privileges that I need to check on hadoop cluster/ gateway?
