This issue has been occuring for the past week, only for one specific report. Publishing from the desktop client still works normally and is being used as a manual refresh.

Resolver I

I have been facing a similar issue. Is there any update in this yet ? Or any permanent solution if anyone has found it ?

The problem resolved itself for me, however I did go through and clean up my dataset to ensure it was as lean as possible. Not sure if this helped at all or if the BI team changed something their end.

I am also having the same problem since the middle of last week, have tried reinstalling the gateways still getting the error. Had no problems before just suddenly started as per previous people have stated.

Just an update on my post earlier today, I have just done a manual update from Power BI desktop, and when you look at the refresh history it also said it was cancelled by the user or from a timeout, however it appears that it has actually updated the data.

Tried another scheduled refresh after this, same message but failed to update.

Connection to Oracle using SQL queries to update data sources. Not sure how to proceed, as it's one specific report (for now).

Well in appears something has been fixed as three days ago my schedule refresh started working again and has worked fine since.

I didn't change anything!

I have the same problem into Brazil, but something it's strange. One report it's ok with gateway, but another, I've the same problem. I'll review the two reports and compare.

Also the problem similar to those reported here, highlights:

 

  • Base update file is in folder in SharePoint (linked via web url)
  • I have other bases in different reports and are working normally
  • PBI Desktop Update happens normally

 

Problem happens with scheduled update and "Update Now"

Can someone help me?
