Shared report loading failure

When a new version of a report (SSAS direct connect) with changes in the SSAS backend has been published to the app.powerbi.com portal and users who have accessed it before try to access it again, it very often fails to load unless they do a hard refresh of the page (ctrl+F5). They get the error message "Timeout occured when sending or recieving a request"

 

After doing a hard refresh it works fine, however, many users do not know how to do a hard refresh.

Hi @diesirae33,

 

1. Did you make any changes in the SSAS model?

2. What kind of changes did you make?

3. I would suggest you file a support ticket here. It's hard to reproduce this issue.

Changes made to the SSAS model where just changes to some measure formulas.

 

But turns out this could be a proxy issue in the on prem gateway. I will confirm this before i take this further.
