I noticed that couple of users have posted about having the values in filter pane on service showing in black when using a dark theme, this is preventing from the ability to see the values to be selected.

In Table view, right-clicking the table in the central area and choosing Copy or Copy Table doesn't do anything. Nothing is copied.

I ran into the error message "Couldn't copy to clipboard - It looks like server's busy" after click at the button "Copy as image with caption". I already tried workaround such as change web browser, clear cache. It also happen with different account, in different Wifi. Last week we still use copy button and it worked fine. Any ideas how can I fix it, thank you.

Hi. I tried to load the Marketplace page to view POWER BI DESKTOP visualizations from 2 computers and 2 different users, but the page did not load. A loading wheel appears for less than a second and then nothing happens. I checked with other colleagues in my geographical area, and the result was the same. I would like to request your urgent attention to this issue. Unfortunately, I can't attach a screenshot of the loading screen, because it is disappearing very quickly. Thank you, Rita

Hi, I have one calendar table (french). 12 month : Janvier, Février... Décembre An integer column [1..12] : 12 values janvier = 1 février = 2... etc. All was working fine and I never had any "duplicate value ..." error message when trying to Sort a column by another one. Version : 2.128.952.0 64-bit (avril 2024) Regards, Denis

Following update to "Version: 2.126.927.0 64-bit (February 2024)" I can now nolonger connect to a particular slq server. Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.) This is not my server and it does not support encryption. Until now I have been able to turn off encryption and have not had any SQL Certificate Chain errors. I can still connect with the same settings via SSMS. I don't think I can try things like trustcertificate in the connection string with PowerBI. Has anyone a solution to this or any reports that this is a bug to be addressed would be much appreciated. Our team is developing a report on a dark canvas. When adding stuff to the filter panel, the text font is not rendering in white as expected and it make it hard for user to use to filter panel. Hope you guys can help fix this issue soon. Much appreciated!

Hello After the March 2024 update a Circular Dependency Detected error began to appear in a relationship that seemed to be fine since forever. In fact, the Fabric Service does not issue this error. What's worse, any changes I try to make to the dataset regardless of where the changes are made; this error pops up and completely ignores applying the changes I want to make. Is there a "bug" in the latest Desktop update? Why did this error not exist prior to this? I need help, I can't seem to shake off this issue and I have several updates I need to make to this dataset which cannot be made in the Fabric service.

Hello, I posted this in the help section of the community, but I believe it is a bug with the most recent update (October 2023). I routinely export desktop PBI reports to PDF for sharing in newsletters. Today, for some reason, when I exported to PDF, only about the top left quarter of each page is exported instead of the full page. I have attempted exporting multiple different reports, closing and re-opening Power BI, and restarting my computer to no avail. Nothing in my report has changed other than refreshing the data. Each page is the default 16:9 720x1280 size. I was able to successfully export from a report published to the online workspace, but not desktop. A coworker was also able to successfully export from desktop with the August 2023 update. Since the Power BI Feb 2024 release, all of the reports in our workspaces have had this SSL error: "The server name provided does not match the server name on the SQL Server SSL certificate ... " Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden this error showed up across our workspaces Some notes and highlights: We use Azure sql databases No credentials were changed before this error occured and none have changed since I have double checked the credentials and the server names match both in the desktop and in the service The error occurs both on desktop and in the service We connect through a sql privatelink (servername.privatelink.database.windows.net) and use a VNET data gateway That gateway has not changed We tried disconnecting from the VNET data gateway and using an on-prem gateway, no luck connecting either We can connect to our Azure sql dbs with any other method directly in SSMS through excel In web apps we use Any idea what could be going on? Thank you!

Good news first: It looks like with the February update, this issue was resolved: New card visual bug ... But sadly now there's a new issue with the visual, this time it's the custom formatting of the Reference Labels. Some operations are causing the whole visual to throw the above error "Repeated indices found in GroupBy or Projections". In my case it happens every time I am adding a custom format rule for Reference Label > Detail > Font Color / Color. This is only the case when the same field is used for the formatting rule like as for the data of the detail field itself.

Dear all, Recently the mobile layout is updated with interactive function, however the background of the mobile layout now stays in White color regardless what canvas color or wallpaper you choose in Power BI Desktop view. I have tried on few different PCs and Pbix files they all return the same white background issues since all my reports are in Black background with white font. Would be gladful if this is verified as a bug and can be fixed as we are unable to publish the report now as it will ruin the mobile layout view of users. Thanks!

I am having an issue where if I have a calculated table (first 5 columns calculated table) and then calculated columns added to the end (last 4 columns of the table) when I left click from a calculated column back to the calculated table in data view the system buffers and it overwrites the formula bar with the calculated column formula and creates a new table with the formula that was in the calc column feild. I am not sure why it is doing this because I am just clicking to navigate. I have a video of this issue I could not upload but is a new issue.

Recently / within the last one or two weeks while modifying reports, I have run into a bug where I'm modifying a calculated column and try to save the changes and I get an error saying "Rename Column The name 'X' is already used for a column the table 'y'. Choose a different name." I'm modifying any column that already exists, so I cannot save any changes on that column. Even worse: if I go to the formula for a calculated table, I try to change or leave the formula box without making any changes, and it gives me this same error about the table name, and it breaks the table completely. I have to quit the application and reopen from my last save. This doesn't happen every time I open a report, thankfully, but it's happening to me maybe once every other day randomly - I haven't been able to figure out what specific set of circumstances is causing it to happen unfortunately.

Hi - I just experienced an issue that has previously not happened. In my company, we have a waterfall chart showing cash development. The graph uses switch variables to calculate the increases/decreases and then shows the resulting total sum. This works well in the desktop setting and has previosly worked very well on the published report too. However, I discovered today that the published report does not show the correct total value, but instead shows the final category of the waterfall. This is extremely strange, as I have error-searched and cannot find any other explanaition than the fact that the web-browser report contains some kind of issue/bug. Please see below: Desktop graph Power BI service graph Both graphs in the picture are connected to the exact same dataset. I have also tried to replicate the graph in the dataset (Desktop) and it shows no issue. I have also tried new desktop reports connected to the dataset and no issue. The only issue is when the report is published, it shows a different result.
