Reordering columns in query mode does not affect - Custom Create Table

Hi,

I have a table called newspaper sales and a table called web sales.

When they are brought into PowerBI they are in a different order.  However in the query i make them look exactly the same.

When I then try to create a custom table using the DAX UNION function it treats them as if they have not been reordered.

Based on my test, the reorder action is even not retained after we close and apply Query Editor, please refer to following screenshots.

I’ve reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 39161707

I’ll post here once I get any update about it.

And I think you can append tabel in Query Editor, in that way, the columns should still be reordered.
