Query update performance

The query update process since the February update of yesterday is much, much slower, by a factor of many times. It appears in the interest of making PBIX saves faster, this is now much slower. I am waiting for about 945MB update to finish for 30 minutes now after I sorted the table in . I have never had an issue like this before and have plenty of RAM and CPU.  It is pegging both pretty hard but seems to be caught in a loop.  Other queries finish but still much slower than before.

As there is a known issue which table sort by column reset after refresh, there will be a new desktop version as mentioned by AlexGorev. Please test again when the next version is released.
