OData - Failed to update data source credentials - Dynamics 365

Hi All,

 

I'm experincing an issue with data refresh.

 

My PowerBI desktop connects to our Dynamics 365 using OData. It worked in the first place, but I started to experience issues since yesterday.

 

I was trying to schedule a data refresh, but the Data souce credentials shows error (screenshot below).

Hi @Anonymous,

 

The issue should be related to MFA (Multi-factor Authentication) for OAuth. I got internal information that at the end of this week, MFA (Multi-factor Authentication) for OAuth will be enabled for all clusters. 

 

Would you please test again at that time and let me know the results?

Thank you for getting back to me!

 

I hope they can publish a solution soon, as we cannot set up any automatic reports at this momemnt.

 

I will keep you posted regarding the test results.

Dear all,

 

The same issue comes back! Just heard back from one of the Microsoft support team that no progress on the issue.

 

Anyone experiencing the same issue?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Does your account used to sign in Dynamics 365 has MFA enabled actually? 

 

Please try again, if issue persists, please share RequestID listed in the error message with us.

@v-qiuyu-msftHi, we have not enabled the MFA on my account. But the issue has gone. Thanks.
