I can repro the same issue as you. I’ve reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 36375766
I’ll post here once I get any update about it.

The fix will be available in May 2017 version of Power BI Desktop.

I'm using the latest version and still have the same issue.

I'm using the New Matrix in the July release for general availability and have this issue.

• I'm updating "old" matrices and have the issue...and when I remove and replace it still remains.  I'm unable to get around the issue.

Anyone else?
