If you have installed on-premises gateway in your machine. Please try with following steps and test with latest Apr 2017 version of PBI Desktop to see if it helps.

 

=> Uninstall all the on-premises data gateway.
=> Reinstall the on-premises data gateway.
=> If you’ve published it to Service before, remove the existing datasets from the Service.
