ISSUE: What if? feature changing values

Hello,

I have been working with the "What If" feature and found a limitation. I wanted to do a what if with a maximum value of 5000 in incriments of 1. When I would enter "6" , the value would change back "5" and same with a few other numbers like "1231" it would got o "1232". Some numbers would hit exactly and some numbers would not.

Did you see following warning message just after you created the parameter on the slicer? If there are too many parameter values, only representative sample will be shown, so when you type a value which does not belong to the representative sample, it will be changed to a near number.

If you create the parameter with less number range, you should not be able to repro it.

hey @Vicky_Song,

I saw that warning but if I have specified the parameters to be min = 0 and max = 5000 in incriments of 1. Is it just that the system can not handle it?

Yes, because there are two many values. We should filter the column to less values.
