Hiearchy Slicer Visual - No data

Hi all,

we are using hiearchy slicer component on an existing report and we came up with the following problem. When it's published on Power BI Report Server, the visual is shown with no data (empty). When we use it on an empty report, then it's visible.

Hi @pkoletsi,

Based on my test, if I edit the report stored on report server in Power BI desktop, add a Hierarchy Slicer visual then save change to report server, the Hierarchy slicer works fine to filter other visuals data. 

In your scenario, I would suggest you update your Power BI report server and Power BI desktop to the latest version then test again: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56722

The visual seems to be added but it comes with no data.

Hi @pkoletsi,

Please try to run different browsers to see if the issue persists. Also please restart the Power BI report server service.
