Do Not Summarize not Working as Expected

I have a simplified adventure works data model.  I have a relationship between the sales table and the customer table

Sales[Customer key] *-1 Customer[Customer key]

The Customer[Customer key] is numeric

I have set the default summarization for the Customer[Customer Key] to do not summarize

Current Behaviour

Add a new Table to the canvas

Drag the Customer[Customer key] to the values section in the field list

Customer Key is added as "Count of Customer Key"

Expected behaviour: Customer Key is added as a categorical field and the list of customer keys appears down the table.

Ironically, if I drag the Customer[Customer Key] and drop it directly on the Table frame (not the values drop zone), I get exactly the behaviour I expect - the column is added as a list of values.

Hi @MattAllington,

The issue has been reported before internally: CRI 65332331. It's by design now. PG team have plan to fix this but don't have hard ETA now.
