Data Source Credentials 5X of Data Sources

21 data source credentials4 data sourcesI have a .pbix file I made some changes on in the desktop version and then re- published.  When I did so and then set it to be on refresh schedule - the data source credentials increased from the expected 4 to 21.  There are only 4 data tables coming from the same OData source (Project Online).  I don't think this is expected behavior.  It was previously four.  I have seen this before but wasn't certain until I tested with this file (which is relatively straightforward in its data calls).

This compounds the issue of having to re-authorize credentials when the system seems to lose them on an intermittent basis.  (by 5 times!)

Has anyone else seen this happen?

I'm not able to reproduce the issue. The issue maybe related to account specific. I would suggest you create a support ticket to get dedicated support.

I have the same issue, where I have 4 sources that wont authorize and somehow 8 extra sources has been added. From where I have no idea. I have created a few support tickets, but after a month of back-and-forth with support I still haven't gotten any solution.

If anyone else have a solution I am very interested!
