Cross-Filtering Yielding Unexpected Export to CSV (or Excel) Results

Hi Team,

 

If you cross-filter on a specific category in one visual, then export the data that has the cross filter applied in a separate visual the results display as if NO cross-filter is applied. One would expect if you apply a filter of any kind that the results returned in an export would render the results displayed after the cross filter.

Hi @KyleWilliamsBMI,

 

I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side with the latest desktop version 2.58.5103.501. Please try to update the Power BI desktop to the latest version then test again.

Yes, this is working as expected for crossfiltered visuals.  The issue my client is now seeing results from filtering of data based on the legend selection within a visual.  I have opened the issue here: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Export-Data-after-Filtering-visual-using-Legend-exporting-too...
