Behavior:
Error appears when opening PBi Desktop App: Couldn't load the model schema associated with this report. Make sure you have a connection to the server, and try again.
It also appears when opening any previously created report.
After lots of research I found this only happens when I am connected to the VPN; which I must in order to access the data.
I need to be connected to the VPN in order to get/refresh the data. If I connect to the VPN; PowerBI Desktop App doesn’t work; and if I disconnect from the VPN then I don’t have access to the data. It is a dead-end.
Please have it fixed for the next release; PBi Desktop App has no value for us if it cannot coexists with a VPN connection.
