Confusing of Power BI Desktop for Reporting Server icon

Hi team,

 

I installed PBI Desktop Report Server

but its icon is showing name:  Power BI Desktop (June 2017). (This is 64bit version)

It's 175mb file.

Actually, it's fine with PBIDesktopRS.msi, but this minor bug happens with PBIDesktopRS_x64.msi

Hi @tringuyenminh92,

 

I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Do you install Power BI Desktop (June 2017) on the same machine before?

I would suggest you go to control panel check if only Power BI Desktop (March 2018) installed without June 2017. Then uninstall the Power BI Desktop (March 2018), check if the shortcut is removed as well. Then reinstall it.
