Cities are placed wrongly on US Map

Did you have country part of you data?

Country 

County 

City

If you have them in that order it will allow you to drill down on the map

Do for each relevant field

Please set the data category (e.g. Country, State and City) properly and use the expand all down feature as following video. You can also use a CONCATENATE string and set it to 'Place'.
