@dharbert

What is the data source here? Does it happen to other visuals with the same data source?

Best Regards,
Herbert

Hi Herbert,

First off - how funny our names are so close. My full name is David Harbert.

Data source is an API that we call (ConnectWise) -- In the Power BI Desktop client it works 100% of time and never fails. The fail comes in when we publish to PowerBI.com. Then it will work sometimes and fail other times. When it fails (it is failed on all cards referencing that data set on all reports and dashboards (even different Power BI items published). In the past when I raise this issue it gets fixed, then eventually breaks again.

The team is getting fusterated as they rely on the reports (dashboards).

The card visual is the only one that fails.

Cheers,

David

It seems that the issue is data source specified and intermittent. I suggest you to create a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com (see bottom of page).

Hi Herbert,

When I go to http://support.powerbi.com I am logged out. So I log in which takes me to the portal showing my reports and dashboards. I then go back to http://support.powerbi.com and am logged out again. I can't find a way to click on "Support Ticket". I am a Pro User.

Thanks,

David

You can try with a InPrivate browser. If that still does not work, please try to create a ticket in O365 Admin Portal: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/how-to-create-a-service-request-to-contact-power-bi-support...

Best Regards,
