Background shape on dashboard interfers with display of other visual elements

Hi,

When I want to use a shape as a background image in a dashboard (not in the Page properties, but on the page itself), it it still selectable. This means that when a user taps or clicks in an empty space on the dashboard, the shape is selected and the other visuals are partially obscured (the shape has focus and this changes the tranparency). It would be nice, in general, if elements on the dashboard could be locked or made unselectable.
