"My Entire Organization" permissions for Gateways

If I publish a content pack I can choose to share it with "My Entire Organization" rather than explicitly granting access to individuals/groups.  Is there a way I can achieve the same thing on a Gateway data source?

Hi @gregchristopher,

Do you want to share on-premises gateway to other users or share the data source you have created under register gateway to other users?

If you mean that let other users to add data sources under registered on-premises gateway,  you would need to add users on the Administrators tab for the gateway, this way, users can administer the gateway.  You can only add users at this time. Security groups cannot be added.

If you want to share the data source you have created, click the data source under gateway, then add users on the Users tab as shown in  the following screenshot. You can add users and security groups, that can use this data source.

If I publish a content pack I get an option to grant access to it for "My Entire Organization" rather than explicitly selecting individuals/groups.  Is there a way I can do the same thing for a Gateway Data Source?  The cube that this data source is pulling from grants access to NT Authority\Authenticated Users, so there's no problem for desktop BI users accessing it, but there doesn't seem to be a correlate when setting up the data source.

Thanks for your response, Lydia.

The latter is what I want to do: share a data source.  Unfortunatley I have more groups and individuals to add to this list than are feasible to manage. I'd like to be able to just share the data source with my entire organization, similar to how you can do that when creating a content pack:2017-03-24 08_55_52-Power BI.png

The Data Source  sharing feature doesn't have a "My entire organization" button (that I can see), but I was hoping someone knew of a workaround.

Hi @gregchristopher,

There is no such option when sharing data source under gateway. You would need to share data source following the guide in my first post.
