Use calculated variable in web query with gateway

Hi

If use static web query link - gateway and report works well

(

   http://10.10.10.10/ERP-Orchids/hs/getting/20150101

)

But when I added calculated variable to link, PowerBI Desktop report works well, but I cant add gateway to report:

(

   v = Text.From( DateTime.LocalNow() )

   "http://10.10.10.10/ERP-Orchids/hs/getting/" & v

)

Is there way to use calculated variable in web query with gateway?

Hi @googlogmob,

It's not supported to type Power Query functions as web URL when we create a web data source under on-premise data gateway. In your scenario, please try to configure the dataset to use personal gateway in Power BI Service.

Hi @v-qiuyu-msft

Our company has used for more than 20 accounts. The manual is written to the gateway that personal gateway can be used only for a single account. Consequently, the personal gateway does not suit us

Tell me, please, what to do in such a situation
All service PowerBI without running the gateway becomes simply useless

Hi @googlogmob,

Already voted on your idea. I will report this feature request internally, will back here once I get any feedback.
