From Paul Mather:

The OData API (_api/ProjectData) just surfaces data from the Project Web App database reporting schema. The reporting schema doesn't include custom columns from the Issue or Risks list - same limitation as Project Server 2007, 2010 and 2013 - it is by design.

To get that data you will need to query the List REST APIs, an example that mght help you get started can be seen below:

Hi @Yulius,

How do you connect to Project Online? Using Project Online content pack in Power BI Service or connect to Project Online in Power BI Desktop?

Based on my research, Project Data ODATA feed only contains the default Project Site lists and default columns (Risks, Issues, etc.), custom lists and columns are not included. For more details, please review this article.

Thanks,

Hi @Yulius,

Have you refreshed imported table in Power BI Desktop after you add new field in issues?

Hi @v-yuezhe-msft

I click on the refresh power bi desktop menu, but the custom fields are not appearing.

and I then do a "get data" using "OData Feed", but still the result of my custom fields do not appear in the list issue, only the default field issues that arise.

is this limitation of power bi to the custom field in Issue List?
