Hi,
I want to connect data from my local SQL Server to Power BI. I have established the gateway and added the data source, connection appears successful. However, when I go to Get Data -> Databases -> SQL Server ->Connect I get the message that "No resources foud". Am I missing something?

@robertvelcu,
We are not able to directly import data from SQL Server database to Power BI Service.
Please connect to SQL Server database using the “Get Data->SQL Server” entry in Power BI Desktop, you can create reports in Power BI Desktop, then publish reports to Power BI Service and use the gateway to refresh your dataset in Service.
Regards,
Lydia Zhang

Hi,
I need to connect data from my local SQL Server to Power BI. I have created the gateway, I am administrator and added the data source. If I test the connection it is succesful, but if I go to Data to add the data from my SQL Server, the resource does not appear. I am missing something?
