Sharepoint Folder Get data from Sharepoint SubSite

I want to get a list of files and their metadata within a sharepoint subsite. I am able to use the sharepoint folder connector to access file metadata to the ParentSite, but subsites do not work.

The url to the subsite has this format: https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/ParentSite/Subsite/

https://mycompany.sharepoint.com/sites/ParentSite/Subsite/

 From PBI Desktop, using Get Data - Sharepoint Folder to the above url, this is the error I receive. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Based on my test in desktop version 2.46.4732.721 64-bit (May 2017), it's able to get data from SharePoint online subsite, which is one team site. See:

In your scenario, please run the same desktop version as ours. Check what's the site type of that subsite. You can check site type follow this: How to see what site template is used in SharePoint Online (Office 365).

This is the value for the Site Template

var g_wsaSiteTemplateId = 'STS#0';

I am using the same Desktop version and still unable to get the data from that particular the subsite.
